Ya ya Im a n00b, save it haha.

I am willing to spend about $1500 on my SXR and am torn between what kind of mods I should put the money towards. I am a lake rider and often ride big cruiser waves/ wakeboard boat wakes but am 50/50 with flat water as well. I have a spring tensioner, shortend stock ride plate, and a bilge. I was thinking of a TBM ride plate, impellor (9/17?) Worx maxiloader grate, ADA head, pump seal, and the TBM shortened turn plate w/ stud, and then Cyclone footholds (are they big enough for a size 12-13 foot?)

Any help on what i would best benefit from or opinions on the above mentioned products, or recomendations of different ones are greatly appreciated

I meant the pump shoe seal kit from R & D, --and I would take a huge hit if I sold my SXR to get a superjet unfortunately so thats out of the Q, but i cant say I didnt see that response not coming haha.

Whats the deal with the Afterburner pump cone from R&D and TBM? do they actually work well, or what are they best used for?

Figure out what type of riding you want to do. Freestyle or race. It sounds like freestyle, so kill the TBM rideplate, it is awesome for carving but not for freestyle. As for the pump seal, just use some Devcon two part epxoy and fill the void. Wet pipe, head and footholds for my money, that should still leave some for gas!

Get a pipe, a good intake grate & steering components.

these guys know what they are talking about. first grab a wet pipe. thats 23 hp right there i believe. the stock prop will handle that if you're feeling cheap. since you said 1500. get a c-75 large hub 10/18 skat trak ( make sure its c 75 large hub) take your stock ride plat and cut on the lines of the inside square of the back. leaving the two sides for fins. you will have extra money for that, grab a head. ( ada with 28ccs will give you around 180 lbs.) than sit back and enjoy. you will be impressed

10/18 large hub. not 9/17. and if you dont have the wet pipe your probably not going to notice it too much.
