I'm fitting a round nose tank in my project fx1, seems to fit great except for the battery tray, I'm just going to cut the corner off my battery tray because I'm running a small battery anyway.

Update...I was just fitting my tank and the stock fx1 fuel hose is too short, probably because the tank doesn't go in as far as the fx tank due to the bigger size. The sj tank does go in far enough to still do up the tank strap though. I added length to my stock tank hose by putting a piece of 1 1/2" pvc inside the stock hose (so you can clamp down on it) and then a piece of b-pipe coupler on the outside with a clamp. Probably could melt the tank to make it fit in better but I felt this was easier. Looks like it will need some turf glued on the tank because my b-pipe sits right up against the tank.

Another update...the hood breather tubes don't clear the tank...duh!

I actually want the extra gas, just because we ride a fair distance away from where we launch. I think I will just cut the tubes.
