11th Annual Sea Doo Surf and Turf Championships

Third Annual Bud Light Lime Tupelo Watercraft Cup
Featuring the Monster Energy Rail Jam
Presented by the Tupelo CVB
June 21-22 – Veterans Park – Tupelo, MS

It is time to put your seatbacks and tray tables in their upright and locked position as the 11th Annual Sea Doo Surf and Turf Championships will be taking off in Tupelo, Mississippi, on June 21-22. The Third Annual Bud Light Lime Tupelo Watercraft Cup at Veterans Park, will feature APBA sanctioned Personal Watercraft racing and for the first time will combine the Monster Energy Rail Jam featuring Pro-wakeboarders that will start in specially constructed pools on the shore, hitting rails and ending up in the lake. In addition to all of the on-water action, the Monster Energy girls will be on hand with product giveaways, the National Guard will have a 50 foot tall, multi-route climbing wall, and there will be food vendors on site and there will be a 3500 square foot VIP tent for everyone in attendance to enjoy. Radio stations, Z98 and Sunny 93 will also be on hand to bring in the local flavor, and two of the nation’s finest announcers will be on hand to keep everyone informed and entertained. This event is easily accessible and it is a great venue to watch the event from anywhere around the lake and is RV friendly. Additionally, there will be a big “Block Party” after the event on Saturday night in historic downtown Tupelo, sponsored by Bud Light and you will be able to watch your favorite PWC racing videos on a 100 year old building on a 50’ projected screen. Finally for the racers, there will be additional cash payouts in four featured classes, and Oakley has donated some goodies for the other classes, along with Riva and Hydro Turf. Personal Watercraft Illustrated will be doing a story on the event and it will be broadcasting through Wizzard Media of Hollywood, California. The host hotel for this event is the Sleep Inn, located at 1721 N Gloster St., and there phone number is (662) 840-7737, get your reservations early! This will be one of the best events of the summer, and one you will not want to miss! As always, admission is free! See you there!

Called the hotel listed and they said they were booked. Mentioned a block for Surf and Turf and the girl sounded confused.

Has the host hotel changed or is the block of rooms under something other than S&T ??

??????

Somebody has to know something? Last I heard he was in critical condition. It was a green and black Tim Judge 15F I believe. He was in the Pizza Patron rig at Tupelo. That was one of the most F'ed up crashes I have ever seen. I don't know the guy at all, just hoping he is gonna be OK.

I read on Pwctoday that he has a broken Femur and some cuts and scraps. Sounds like he was going into surgery totnight to get a rod or two put into his leg. Here is a link:

Trace Mills was seriously injured at the Tupelo race this past weekend. He has compression fractures in his L4, L5. 2 new rods and a pin have been added in his right thigh (to the knee), lacerations in his feet, foot fractures and a bone chip.

His mom and dad are there and his round of surgery went well. There are no know internal injuries. They are treating the back compression fractures with braces and not surgery at this point.

i am going to ask his mom if they would like contributions to any charities in lieu of sending flowers or gifts.
