No beach carts needed there is a ramp. You take the ski with you at night when returning to camp a few miles away.

the constant boat wakes make it difficult without a stand.
Ketsairs DIRTBIKE tires did the best job at protecting skis I think.
I seem to recall one of my pvc stands even getting broken.

If you are giving it away Dubs Ill take it, I am not sure Ill have a way to haul it back with me though.
If I get around to making some more pvc stands this year Ill try and make some extras, I gave mine out last time to people with nicer boats, so they wouldnt get beat to hell.
My boats are already beat to hell.

Make sure you put turf on the top of the stands I see too many people built PVC stands then wonder why there boats float off. Daaaaa

yeah I always glue scraps on them.
I need to use heavier PVC or fill them with 2 part foam I guess, the last ones ive made have broken.
of course, I parked a sitdown ski on one of them, and it broke, and the other I think got broke by some over-zealous ratchet strappage while being packed.

Don't fill with foam you want the stand to sink, I actually drill a hole in each 90 to let the air escape. I have been using the same stand for about 3 years now with a slight re glueing.
Make them small about 12" wide and 18-20" long.

thats how I have always made them mark, maybe I should fill it with cheap polyester resin...
Dubs, Im happy to help you anyway I can, I cant vouch for the quality of my advice though!

Yea if you have a scupper it sinks to the bottom every night than in the morning you can just pull the rope up to find it, kind of like fishing.:lmao:
