1991 701 SJ, bilge pump problems

I put my superjet in the water for the first time today since I converted it to a 701 61x. And it does not seem like the bilge pump is pumping water out of the hull. I don't know if you have to be moving for it to work, I was just revving it up on the shore?

If you are talking about the stock siphon/bilge, yes, you need to be moving.
A good reason to get an electric bilge pump as a back up, IMHO.

the bidge line on your reduction nozzle in the pump area may of come off ???
also, you may have a tiny pin hole in one of your exhaust water lines ???
that would make it leak inside too.

try running your ski without the hood on, and look for a leak as you are riding at a slow pace.
be careful when you come back to shore !!!
you may sink it coming back in.

fyi, the water line that goes from the hull to the exhaust manifold over or under the coupler cover may have a big hole in it too.
