ROOMS ARE GOING FAST! THE SPECIAL WAVEDAZE BLOCK HAS BEEN EXTENDED AN EXTRA WEEK! The block now expires this Friday, September 12th. The WaveDaze discount will still be honored for anyone booking rooms right up until the event.

Special Rate for WaveDaze 2008 is $69 single occupancy per room per night, plus 13% Tax and $1.00 City Lodging Tax. (taxes are subject to change). Rate is for 1 to 2 people in the room. $10.00 more for each person per room per night. All rooms are oceanfront with some directly on the boardwalk. When you make reservations be sure to let them know that you are in the "WaveDaze room block"!

Check-in time starts at 3PM on Friday, October 3rd and check-out is 11AM on Sunday, October 5th. Some rooms join with other rooms, but if you want one such room, you must mention that when placing reservations. Individual cancellation is due by Tuesday, September 30, 2008 or first night’s room amount will be charged.

Parking is available to Quality Inn guests in the first 3 floors of the 9th street parking garage. Floors 4-5 are public parking. This garage is across the street from the hotel. (see pic below)

BTW Everyone, I think the room block reduces from 50 to 25 next week, but I have to check that. Still I don't think we'll have a problem. Get your reservations in early to be safe though!

Stacy, if you are coming through FL on I-10. I may meet you up there to caravan depending on my departure date, just let me know. Come to think of it, we could prob make it work in one vehicle from that point forward if you want. I will have to make a last minute call on the trip as I did with this last one of course, so realize that could always trip you up if we try to work it.

from here to orlando is a car is about 12 hours, here to Daytona in a truck with skis is about 12.

The hilton is at 31st & the quality inn is at 7th, so you'd be about 24 blocks north. :poke:

There is an open gravel lot across from the hotel at 8th st.. Also I think that you could fit one in the first floor of the garage (9th st.) next to the gravel lot as well. I'll have to check on both lots, but last year we had a lot at 18th street & may have that one for us again.

Motor wise.. yes

Nozzle/impeller wise, probably not

I still have a few things I want to do to it. I haven't even ridden it in a couple weeks because I have been so busy and low on $$$. To top it off, I am currently in the process of moving. I *should* have it done with time to spare though. Either way, it is way rideable like it is. I'm not too worried :sneaky:

latest word is that the hotel is almost full! If it does fill up, there are plenty more around the ride. Most notably the Days Inn at 10th that was an official hotel last year. However, it's not Oceanfront.
