This is total bull**** because they obviously gave money to that irresponsible mother who killed her kid.
SHE should have been the one facing charges.

RTFA, the mom told her no, went on an errand, the kid lied about having permission and convinced the 17 year old to let her ride then she went outside the area he told her to stay in.

Clearly, this leaves no one but Bombardier responsible.

The whole thing is a load of BS!!! Yeah a sticker would have kept her from riding the seadoo... ok.
Just like nobody ever goes over the posted speed limit right? I'll tell you what, since I almost always speed (not saying that's right), if I am ever in an auto accident, does that mean I can sue the town i live in for not stopping me and giving me a speeding ticket? How ridiculous is that... Gotta love the American Judicial System.
People and parents need to start taking responsibility for their own actions.

The terms of the settlement are favorable to her and in the best interest to her family.
Yeah, tragic accident but hitting the lottery makes everything better.
I bet her "employer" is next to payout...

So she waited her mother left the house to do it behind he back but would have respected a STICKER?
My mother****ing ass, I even wonder why they let that case being filed.
