hell, I can deal with the cut, just not the swelling and the pain!!!!!!!!!! I had thoughts of that movie with Kathy Bates where she smacks the guy with the sledge hammer so he cannot walk!!!!!!!! It was actually already sealed up by the time the doc took off the bandage that was put on there at the ride, he was just going to tape it, but I mentioned the glue and he said, yeah, that a better idea...

someone brought a bag down to the water, held it there for a few minutes, now, that was painfull, it hurt worse than hitting the ski....... but I have never liked ice on an injury.. I know, it helps, gonna have to ice by ankle when I get home today.

honestly, it was barely hurting when I got back, found out that night, that after I took off that splint, it made walking totally pain free, needless to say, I am not wearing that splint!!!!!!!!

i had ryan look at my leg from last month and he just looked at me like i was nuts for not having went to the hospital. he is a physical therapist ( shawns bro) he said it felt like a compound fracture. then when i told him that i rode the rest of the day after it happened he just shook his head.

some of us can deal w/ it better than others.

normally, I would blow off a cut, heck, barb was with me when I hooked the underside of my knee with the finger throttle riding on the hood, now that actually hurt more than this did. we wrapped it up and kept riding. But something about ankles I just do not want to screw around with. They have a habit of getting worse if you dont take care of them.
