Alright, i'm installing footholds and just bought hood starp, so i'm gona be trying a barrol soon :splatt:. quick question, i was watching the vid's on youtube of sxr barrol :Banane01:. trying to figure out if it makes any difference wich way i turn of a wave or wake of a boat, so lets say if i'm heads on with a boat and stick to the left of the boat...when i hit the wake..do i go left or right with the ski?

also a wave...if the waves are coming right to left, do i hit the wave and turn left or right?

am i making sense? you guys get what i mean?? :261:

A what?

Perhaps you mean a barrel roll? :bigok:

Roll whichever way you're comfortable.
It helps to turn into the wave in such a way that creates the most lift for the front of the ski.

Thanks for the advice and the corrections

I agree. Turn whichever way you are most comfortable.
Do you already know how to do nose stabs? If so, you will most likely already know which direction you are most comfortable turning.

i'll give it a go and see what happens....so i have to have speed and just before the wave get low and bring the pole down, then try and roll ? also belive i have to try and and lean forward...right?

Don't crank & lean too early....crank the bars right before your pump leaves the water, then crank the bars, lean into the roll, put the pole down, and lean way forward.

sounds so hard...i must admit i'm a bid scared. i'll be wearing the helmet for sure.....i think i'll have a problem with the lean part :shooter3: .... i'm not too good with the lean since i'm 205 lbs

It's just a lot of things happening at once. Not really that hard though.
The bigger the wake, the better.

I come at the boat from the drivers side (right side of boats) At about a 45, go over the first 'smaller' wake then turn towards the boat as it's going past and as you are climbing the wake you're jumping crank the bars to the left and lean far forward and throw your body to the left and throttle it at the top of the wave. Hope this helps. :dunno:

Hopefully we can get my helmet cam to follow me while I do one. That'll be good for training
