I'm working on some small issues with the new server. Everything appears to be working, eventually.
List issues here.
One thing I know of is some of the gallery pics are missing, that's an easy fix.

Might be an issue on my end, but I can't get the search feature to find anything. I tried searching "701" figuring it should find a ton of stuff, but no results found.
Thanks,
Bri
It works- I think I'm losing my mind

if i open threads too fast it says server temporarily unavailable and that I made too many requests per second. That has never happened before until today.

Are you running Fasterfox extension? Webmasters hate Fasterfox because it opens tons of connections to get a page a fraction of a second quicker.

I am. I'll try using FF without it now. And FF is set to clear all private data everytime I log off, so don't worry, the cache is cleared  :cool2:

-The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.-
Does anybody else ever get this message. I've been getting it 3-4 times a day lately?

I've gotten that message a few times over the past week.

That message is from vbulletin 'throttling' itself to prevent too high load on the server. I have it set at 5 which would be kinda high for a single processor machine, but I'll have to check what we're on at the new host. If it's a multiple processor machine, I'll bump the warning level up some.

Just wanted to say (I know its really not a performance issue) I do like the layout of the new mainpage, but I think that there needs to be an easier way to get to browse the forums, like just a link that says "forums"
Its not my site I know, but just a thought... it always bugged me on other forums about that... Just my two cents...

Quick reply doesn't work? Sure it does, that's how I'm doing this one.
On the main page, I had big plans to work on it tonight but 2 out of our 3 kids are puking/etc so I'll get to it this weekend as long as I'm not sick.

You also have to click "quote message in reply" below the quick reply box..
