What is a good carb for a stock x2? Everything is stock except i switched it to pre-mix and added a pjs water box? Is a mikuni bn44 to big ? What size is the stock carb?
stock is probably 28mm, what year? don't get a bn carb they are very hard to tune. a sbn44 jetted properly will be a nice noticeable improvement

I agree. SBN44 is the ticket. I bought a bn44 last year for my first X2. It worked well, but I wouldn't recommend it unless your mechanically inclined as you have to drill the jets out as opposed to just swapping with the right ones. Which meant my carb came off and was opened SEVERAL times. Go with the SBN. They really aren't as much as you would think, and you'd better get one now before spring prices hit.
