550 head question

Can this type head work on a 91 550 sx reed motor ??

nope, the bolt spacing is different........... here is a secret......... Check Compression.......... Stock compression for the 550sx is about 170 lbs......... no need for a head..........

As far as a Pipe goes, is the Mariner 1/2 pipe pretty much the same as the Factory 1/2 pipe ?? I cant remember the name of the Pipe KMAC had for it that is didnt buy :banghead:

The head on the C1 reed motor actually has a small step that can be removed by just flat milling with out having to rechamber. If i remember correctly removing it to be gone netted 195 psi on a non ported cylinder with a stock gasket.
