EDIT BY ADMIN: Louie passed away 11/27/2008 on Thanksgiving Day, Watercraft Factory is handling these hoods now, see http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=49834

Ok many of you guys have been watching this tread.
http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=30511&page=6

I have the first hood and nose pcs ready for sale the price $650 include delivery to the US 48 lower states.I will take money order or personal check for it.
For paypal add 3% to the total for the fees.

I will have an other set ready by the end of the week and a couple more by next week.
so place your did here. then PM me for the order. I will not take any $ until the parts is ready to be shipped so that way there is no delay.
Now the nose pc as 2 strip of closed cell foam on the inside, you will need to trim those to fit them apply some resin and cloth. i will provide the pc of cloth for it.
For the hood you will have to cut the air intake for your 2" hose then use silicone or 5200 to seal them off. Any hood hook will work fine I will recommend to use the small tubing spacer that come from the OEM hood to prevent wear, the OEM latch will also work fine. also a 1"1/2 padding is needed where the pole rest on the hood I will put a pc of tape there for you to locate the location.
In the near future I will be offering a pad for added $$ I'm getting some pricing right now for them.
Thanks, Louie

It was harder to get some good pix of the liner since the reflection was so great. I have placed a tape measure for you guy to see the depth.

Very nice Louie, does the front rubber bumper lip over the nose piece?

where does the gas fill at now...

you have to do a tank conversion by taking the fuel neck and do a cut out on to the tank.

I need to get my ski over there for a test fit.

Let's see, spend $1000 on a RN hull plus hood and nose piece or keep the SN for ever with updated looks ??

Yep, the square is staying with me.

P.S. That's a crazy looking liner you have there Louie.

I bought a hood and nose piece of louie. They may have been the first or second sold, anyway they both have held up well this past riding season. I was doing hood rides and such, putting all my weight on it and no cracks or chips. NICE WORK LOUIE. For those considering it...buy 'em. They both fit nice and were easy to install (nose).
