What year and model did this system come installed on? You can use the OEM Yamaha parts finder to get the part number you need.

do yourself a favor and throw that thing in the trash. stock is better than that crap.

the weak point in this steering is the bottom nylon bushing going to try a intall some kind of metal bearing system, thanks keefer this steering is not stock, its made by yamaha but was a aftermarket kit

Make one out of teflon.

i found the plastic bushing at yamaha dealership i have part number if anybody is interested, steering is nice a tight now

fyi my buddy had the same problem with his, we used a oem replacement. the same bushing from the stock steering from i believe a wave 2 or 3.
