do all x2 s handle this good

tubbies, d cut stock plate, cut rear 1 and a half inches , westcoast deep intake this ski carves real good , i rode other x2 s in 92 but could not remeber how they handled, i am very happy with ski not the fastest but i dont have it dialed in 100% yet

x2.....thats why I could never figure out why so many guys on here like them. I guess you all have tubbies and shortened hulls. I would rather ride a canoe than a stock X2.

Yeah I had mine for a while,I actually tried to sell it for a couple of years .No one wanted it lol,After I put the 720 in, shortened the hull and added the tubbies its a whole new ball game,I love it now.

I would say that a stock X2 handles better (albeit slightly) than a SX but they do handle like crap.

I'm trying to do the X2 thing. My conclusion , they sucked 20 years ago and suck now.
You could take any ski , swap an engine , redesign the hull and spend quadruple what it's worth and it would be a decent ski.
Really I'm sorry I swapped my 650sx hull for it. The only positive I have to say about it is it's easier to ride , since I'm becoming an old man.

I shortened my first X2 VERY soon after buying it. My X2 also always turned left and right equally. The X2 was my first ski, so I learned to make it do whatever I wanted. Most people who tried to ride it couldn't make it go left, or right with any quickness. Now that I own a SJ, I could see how people who started off riding them would look at the stock X2 as a DOG. I won't ever own another stock X2. But a shortened, tubbied, swap ski is a blast!
