I have been trading, buying, and selling lots of parts on the interweb. On mx6.com they have this itrader application that gives everyone on the forum an idea of how you rate as a seller, buyer, trader. Imagine it similar to a feedback rating system that ebay uses but for transactions made on this site.
that way if someone comes on this site and rips a bunch of people off then it will be very hard for them to continue to rip people. And likewise, if you are a great seller people won't hesitate to send you $$ or trade or whatever. Just a thought.
I am pretty sure mx6.com uses the same kind of vbulletin whatever format.
Under your gallery it would say itrader then a number next to it for how many people filled out a feedback sheet. Click that number and it gives a breakdown similar to ebay feedbag. Check out a few posts on mx6.com.
Thanks Darrin and others for listening(reading)!!

itrader looks nice, but not very well supported, meaning there is no release for vbulletin 3.7 and the coder hasn't been on the hack thread since December. The hack may work right now, but not the next version of vbulletin.
I try to stay away from hacks that are lacking support.

cool, seems you know more about it from an admin perspective. Looks like were not ready for THAT much change if it isn't supported.
Keep up the good work Darrin!

I did enable the reputation system. Under the avatars you will see Rep Power. You can give reputation to people for doing good stuff, like selling parts, etc.

Lots of boards use it, I just never turned it on here.
BTW, to rep someone, hit the little scales icon under the avatar.

Disregard the reputation, not what we wanted.

that came and went really fast. It could have gotten ugly though IMHO.
Thanks for all the trial and error JETT, I dig the improvements. :1244:
