I was looking at these pics, and wondering where the heck you all were
hanging out...then I realized that was Bald Ridge campground, and
the houseboat was parked right where my site was last year!

The lake was either really low this year or really high last year,
because there was no place to beach in front of the campsites last year.
The water was right up to the grass.

So did all the action take place at the campground this year,
instead of the other side of the lake in the party cove?

Yes, and yes. The water was down supposedly 2-3 feet from normal which equalled a lot of "beach" for skis, and Bald Ridge was OWNED.
