Hey guys.
Recently bought a 100% unmolested 91 superjet. Has a 650, with no mods other than an impeller of unknown pitch. I bought this pipe pf the boards, and I want to get it put on. I think I've read that you have to drill the jets on this carb like the old round-body carbs. I'm used to my Kawi's, so this superjet hits HARD compared to what I'm used to as it is. The response is so clean right now I hate to mess it up. Anyone know for sure if I have to drill these? If so, whats stock, and what should I go to? I've drilled out a round body before to fit my piped 650X2 with no problems, so I think I can handle this as long as I have an idea where to go with it. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I have read absolutely every jetting page I can find on here, and PWC. Can't find anything saying for sure about the drilling or no, and every single one of those threads I could find were based on the sizzler style pipe, like you had Rags. I've never seen one like mine.

I just hit up Jett, maybe he can give some input too. All is appreciated! I just want to go ride. Thats the only reason that pipe is still in the garage floor, I hate to mess it up. This is the only ski I've ever ridden that is perfectly tuned. And thats only because I haven't screwed with it yet.

You don't need to drill the jets out on that carb(44SBN)...just unscrew them and put new ones in...proper jetting though for that pipe is another story...maybe fire an email off to coffmans and see what they say...I have seen that pipe before, just not sure what model it is.

Cool. Thats actually what I did this morning. Sent Coffman an e-mail with a pic of the pipe. They say on their site thats all you have to do to get proper jetting info. I'm glad to hear that about the carb. Can't remember where I read it, but I could have sworn someone said the 44's on the old 650's were a little different, and didn't have removable jets like the round bodies. Good to know. Thanks.
By the way, I was told this is an original coffman signature pipe.
