I sold one on ebay it mounts on the stock hood hooks with 2 bolts there is also one that mounts on the pole bolt. The one that mounts on the hood hook takes 2 bolts to put on. I can not figure out how to get the stock bolt off the 650 fot the one that mounts on the pole

The bolt mounted? Check the pic below.

Coil around the center pin only goes 1 way...two really, but put the long bend up on the pole.

that is the same spring as me sunny, but in the back of the pics there is like another part of the spring that catches on something to keep the tension, where does tht go? is there a little pocket for it?

maybe a side angle would show me what im asking.

Here you go, Niko.

The tail just floats b/t the spring body and the housing for the handlebar clip.

It appears that rubber bushing sitting underneath the tail may slide on and wedge b/t the tail and the housing, will have to look after the rain and dust storm...this one didn't make it into the kitchen.

Sorry for the quality, it's blowing pretty good and these are the best I got out of 6 shots...

Bought a blown 650, putting a new motor in it and rebuilding the old one if the crank is still good...
