wadman's x2 hull mods **need suggestions**

i am working on some x2 mods. would like to see some shaved hood pics if you have them. the inside of the hood.

plans of what i would like to do. or have started doing.

shaved hood
cut 2 in off back of ski
build up back for feet
trim cover
build up front bottom
d cut plate
fill in all old holes
paint

still not positive what i'm going to do.

is there some kind of puddy i can use to fill holes then glass them in? and what is that thick mating called to reinforce with? thanks

I am not a fiberglass expert but you need some fiberglass mat and epoxy putty. Everyone on here usually buys their stuff from US Composites. Give them a call supposedly they are very helpful.

The thick matting you refer to is called woven roving,what you need is epoxy resin and fillers,you need cabosil and microbaloons fillers,with those,some epoxy and some cloth you can do pretty much anything as far as frp repair-reconstruction is concerned.If you have any questions feel free to pm me.
