The kawasaki X2 was the first mass produced "sit down" watecraft. Kawasaki began production on this PWC in 1986 and ended in 1995. This craft is small and light. The idea behind it was that 2 people would be able to sit though it is most often ridden by one rider standing up. this craft has gained much respect in the stand up communities. The X2 shared the same pump and motor with the Kawasaki JS650.

Motor
Common name 650 Kawasaki
Displacement 635
HP 52 (later bumped up to 57)
Premix 40:1(?)
Single carb (Mikuni 38)

Cool!

Maybe you could add some competition history such as....

Jeff "Kamikaze" Kantz took 1st place at the 1991 (I believe) World Finals in the freestyle competition on an X2.

Maybe something about how they are also great for racing and for freeride (may be some opposition to that...but who cares?)
