I am just sharing my experience here so lets not get any debates going. Great guy! You will wait for your parts but his products are second to none. Awsome designs and functional parts. From a business stand point he has been true to his word with me..........when he needs more time he kept me posed in a timly mannor. You will wait for parts but he is getting better about that........he spends allot of time developing new innovative or modified parts so he is always busy and crunched for time, but he prides himself in never letting bad quality parts leave his shop........he offers his personal adivce on things to steer you in what he feels is the right direction, but he will build you whatever you want unless it compromises quality/durablity. :fing02:

yeah.....I did not get an x-jet yet but I did get some parts from him......nothing major but it was on short notice and I have been talking to him for several months now. He has always been straight shooter with me......no bs

I like Jeff's stuff, but he is very very slow. Keep that in mind if you ever order anything, and you won't be disappointed.

jeff's a real nice guy but he needs to learn to keep up the buisness end of the shop........................now that i think about it, if i built stuff like that for a living you might have to wait for me to finish too.

Allot of his stuff is not made until it is ordered...........it is truly custom made and therefore takes time..............he does not have a warehouse or keep a large inventory of parts......so when he got me what I needed for my build on such short notice I considered it a personal favor, b/c I know how swamped he is. I just got something small that takes no time at all to make but it is the principal of it.

yep my hull's still goin strong! i've had an assload of problems this year with everything BUT the hull/bracket/hood.
i have never got anything from him but i do likethe idea of lower prices. there seems to be a painful premium on pricing with the limited amount of producers making parts for our sport. competition and price reductions are a great thing, i keep pulling for his business to thrive just for this reason, i hope it does

He's jacking up his hull prices, my 2nd one cost about twice as much as my first one. He might still sell some other parts cheaper, but you will wait and wait and wait for them... and then you'll wait some more

I'm pretty amazed this hasn't turned into a flame fest yet.
Truth is, he does turn out good products. In fact, I don't know that anyone has ever disputed that at all. But his business practices leave much to be desired. I won't comment with any 2nd hand stories. But there are a number of people on these boards and that I know personally who won't do business with him again.
I hope to see that change, he does have great products.

Was that the one that the liner separated from? The one he got pretty much for free... and didn't take Jeff up on the offer to fix it for him?
C'mon haters, you can do better than that :sneaky:

Sharky got his money back last year... as soon as Jeff got the insurance money from the Post Office. I don't know of anyone else Jeff owes a refund too. I'm sure he owes a lot of parts, but who's fault is that :boggled:

It really doesn't matter if Riley got it for pretty much free or not, it didn't hold up, and Riley is not very hard equipment from what I can tell.
Doesn't matter to me anyway, I don't have a pony in this race.

im sure this has been discussed before, but does he have an ACTUAL job?
Seems like everyone in this business can deliver within a week, 2 tops, if they want something. I asked Keith over at Head Enterprises for a hood, and we we're laying up liners and hoods the next day, and he has an actual job. Im sure steve could have a hood for us within a week, and so could wammer, blowsion, and anyone else. You could even have an XFT hood shipped from brazil within 2 weeks.

What good would a carbon fiber Superjet hull be for racing? Seems like racers like to ad weight to their Superjets.

That's the problem, Jerry. :frown:
What would you do if your plumber offered service in a similar fashion?
I understand that it's apples and oranges when considering Watercraft Hulls Vs. Taking a Dump, but SERVICE is the key to any succesful business, IMO. :fingersx:
I'm not knocking the quality of his work---I saw and rode Luke's 800-powered WD hull in Texas---I thought it was a nice ski overall.
However, there are quite a few Wamilton's and WaterCraft Factory Fans here in the SouthEast. :arms:

In my garage collecting dust. No time or money to be arsed with it. I'll ride my oem roundnose until next year.

along the same lines:
yup... remember the chris rock bit where he goes on about the guy who's bragging that he takes care of his kids... Rocks was like: you dumb mo-fo, you are suppose to take care of your kids... ya fugging moron.

His work is good quality. You will notice the hulls he does make are thicker and stronger than a regular oem yamaha hull that has been reinforced. Regardless of his slow work, its quality, and thats what you pay for!!!!!
