I am getting a SN SJ in a week or so, and want to drop the engine from my B1 into it, since I am building a new 760 for the B1.
The only Pipe I currently have, is a Factory B Pipe.
How much of a modification to the chamber do I need to do, to make it fit in the SJ?
Will these changes be something that will lead me to have issues when putting the pipe back into my B1 once I get the engine built?
As it seems the Factory B Pipe are now rare, what would be the next best pipe for a surf ski?

No, it is a B-Pipe. (limited?)
I am pretty sure that it looks pretty much like this one:

It has a flange that connects it to the cylinder about midway down the chamber, that I think is not on the superjet version of the pipe.
My room mate bought it from factory pipe new last July, for the Waveblaster.
It will just be a temp thing, while I re-enforce my blaster and build the new engine, so I dont wish to alter it to much, to make it not work as well when I put it back in the blaster.
Hope I put up the details you need to answer my Q.

I've seen mod and limited pipes in a sj. the limited needs a lot of hammering to get it next to the gas tank.

probably.
blaster pipes are better than SJ pipes. they're bigger and made from stainless. I wish I still had my blaster limited pipe to mess around with my SJ.

Does the flatening need done to clear the hull or clear the gas tank?
I dont mind flatening it a bit, as long at that wont have much affect on performance, and doesnt make it so it wont bolt back in correctly into my B1.
Anyone have any pics of the area that needs "bent"?
I saw a few threads on this, but no pics.

gas tank side. I WOULD think it hinders performance. I don't know how much though.

I have a real Speedworx pipe from an SJ I would trade you for yours.
Don't destroy a good chamber, sell it to the x2 crowd and get a limited sj chamber.
