daytona x2's ??

i am going to daytona i have been working on x2 for a while now, because of my job and some parts coming late i will not bringing my x2 down south i want to trade some riding time i will have a blaster and a mod superjet, want to ride a x2 maybe even the 750 x2 'S

Come on,I know nobody could have as much work to do on their X2 as I do,I only have to build an engine,repair the hull,build and add a sponson,complete the bottom hull mod,paint the ski,and tune it all in.

i have done the same work but i have a business that does most of the work between sept and dec just to busy but mine was a total basket case , got it for 100 dollars going to spend 2000 grand on it are you bringing your x2

i did not fill in bottom like crabs ski i know you did the same i dont have much experiance in body work and fiberglass and dont ever what to do it again

Yes I am doing the bottom mod,also the whole left side had been bashed in and improperly repaired so that had to be fixed,I made the tubbies myself.I am also doing a custom mod to the front of the hull,bodywork is my thing though.If I get all this done I will be bringing it to Daytona.

sounds great i bought my tubbies with shipping for 320 dollars wow i had to think hard a long on that one lots of money for some fiberglass and foam, if you bring x2 lets trade skis for a ride or two

It would be worth going even if you don't have a running ski. You're more than welcome to ride my blaster also.

I'm going to bring my air matress and just randomly knock on doors until someone lets me sleep on their floor. I can cook eggs in the morning, they suck, but they'll be cooked enough that you wont get salminella.

no problem crab pickup up ski from a guy on here its a 95 squarenose he had it posted it the sell section it looks great pick up ski on dec 27th it comes with a killer tote beach cart ski is very clean, looking forward to meeting you and everybody on this forum, will also be bringing some good canadian beer from duty free shop, its party time cant wait to ride again, i have parts waiting for me at customs so it slowed my x2 build down check out superjet i bought tell me what u think i got it at a good price the previous owner only used it fresh water, the person i am buying it from use to build race skis the sellers name is flwaveslider their is pictures on the for sale section

The one I am working on is just the left side,it appears there is market for the one piece trim that goes all the way to the seat,I hope to have both eventually but my priorities are this trim piece and the footholds for now.The trim piece will be about $50.00 The footholds will be around $75.00 a set in fiberglass,and about $135-140 for carbon fiber,I will probably only be doing the fiberglass ones at this point,time is drawing near.

waveblasters are a great ski i chopped about 8 inches from rear of seat so its not in my way i dont like to sit down much on it , it handles great, i am sure you will like the ski

this guys bottom hull mod looks like a pretty big deal to me. looks like a whole lot of work and someting tom and I have talked about. It's cool to see someone else has thought about it and actually done!

I just repainted my friend Arts Superjet hull a few weeks ago. It has tubbies on it. I got a real good look at the design of them , they have a definate relationship with the shape of the hull. I've also seen/rode an x2 with tubbies on it. Yes I did like the way it handled but tubbies were not specifically desined for the X2. They just dont fit right or follow the contours right compared to a superjet. I feel I can make tubbies for my X2 that are shaped more correctly to flow with the wierd shape of the x2 hull. That will be part of the next hull mod extraveganza. Plus I want to see what this mod does without tubbies first.

I just got my gasket kit today so I can put back together my Blaster. My brothers X2 is ready with fresh Umi bearings and Sano handlebar grips. Cant wait to be riding in Daytona.

WHAT A SHOWING OF X2's at daytona. I would guess there were over 30+ on Saturday!!! The event was ran top notch.

Pete (and NH crew), X2Rags, Joe B (and NJ crew), my brother, and I all rode yesterday. The maddness doesnt end! Monday (yesterday) was the best day of the trip for me, I got my 780 going and put 4-5 SOLID hours on it yesterday. CDI was bad. I have NEVER been this sore from jetsking. Surf was choppy as ******** yesterday, but soooo much fun. Going to do the same for the rest of the week. Pete has a crank being overnighted for his 840, and I cant wait to take it for a few spins...lol

thanks to everyone that was there, i was a first timer and everyone took me in and made me feel right at home. i cant say enough about this trip, but the best thing is the people you really couldnt ask for a better group to chill with. thanks daytona i will deff be back many more years to come :friday:
