I have a sample of the first one that has come off the machine line this week. These will be ready to be shipped sometime next week.
WHY ALUMINUM?
3 Reasons:
1. BLING BLING for the ski.
2. It is 2.8 pounds lighter than stock from the OEM 650 Kaw. Cradle.
3. It will not rust and leave rust stains in the bottom of the hull.
TECH INFO.:
The thickness of these are as follows: .35" or 8.9mm if I am correct I think that is 5/16" thick.
THESE ARE MADE FROM 6061-T6 ALUMINUM STOCK.
This is what most marine race boat aluminum parts are made out of.
HARD COAT ANODIZE will be available for better corrsion resistance as soon as I can get a price and contract approved. At this time they are raw aluminum that will have a polished finish ( a little shinier than what is in the pictures).
To see what some of the other riders think click here: http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=149166
I am making these available to all the form members for $150.00 + 12.00 s/h each in the lower 48 US. These will be marketed in several locations for $225.00 and up + s/h.
If you want one please send me a paypal payment to john@jetskihaven.com and as soon as I get them next week I will be shipping them out. Please note what the payment is for, so I get what you ordered sent to you.
We are developing several other trick performance parts that will be available soon for the freestyle and X2 enthusiest.
Let me know.
Thanks,
John - Jet Ski Haven

I would need both the SJ and an 800 engine cradle or engine to motor mount brackets to disign one.
What is the market for one of these? Would it only be good for the guy putting an 800 in the SJ?

Or anybody wanting to put the 800 in any Yamaha PWC that has a 650/701/760. The 800 is 120 HP in stock form.
BTW - Those look nice and remind me of the old skool Ocean Pros.

There maybe some engineering changes to this to insure the integrety of this part. We are warranting them so I do not want to have any problems.

The bed plate looks like an ocean pro bed plate with another name stamped on it. I was juts asking out of cuiosity if you developed the plate or bought it from OP.
I like that part for the X2. It's nice.

The engine cradle is a take off of the OP cradle except for a few changes that we have done to make these work better with the higher horse power engines.

Here is the updated version of the new Kaw 650 - 800 engine cradles.
I just got these back from the anodizer and I will have blue and purple available soon (in about a week).
These have been tweeked and tested before they are shipped to fit with no fitment or engine touch issues.
Let me know what color you need and how many.
Form Member price $165.00 + s/h
The price is $15.00 more than what I charged to cover the anodize work.
If you bought one of the first one and you have not sent it back, please send it back with a note in it for the one you want to replace it with and I will get it out asap at no extra cost.
