a place where companys can showcase new products that they have came out with. lots of other forums have something like this ( none of which were jet ski forums).

You're assuming that a wide variety of vendors have an actual interest in advertising here.

There are few 'new' products for the standup world, and even fewer companies that actually post on websites.

I could set it up, but really have had zero interest from any companies.
