here's a pic of a inside the hull lead weight add-on i did on my 95 fx1.
each lead weight is about 3 lbs, and i used the brown hi-temp gasket making silicone.
i do remember "rayce inc" made a stainless mounting plate and it's own 5lb weight's, but the cost for that kit was something i did not wanted to pay for, not did i have a sj or fx1 at that time in my life.
it did a lot to keep the nose down- bouncing up+down with my fat a$$ on my fx1 !!!
anybody else have some pic's of this kind of mod ???
i was going to put 4 or 5 more inside in front of the gas tank next.
good luck

Dang.....go with a stock handle pole and a quadrafin ride plate and porposing will be a thing of the past. For some reason the alum poles seem to change the weight distribution and cause nasty porposing.
It's a shame to add weight when everyone is trying to lighten up!
For further stability and control, go with tunnies and a nozzle trim.
Boy now that looks a little bastardized with the Yamasaki motor.

one came allmost off, but not all the way off the silicone.
the silicone was not fully on contact with the hull, but i did a better job this time on that one.
i did put some thicker washers on the ride plate allready.
i got some fx1 hull ext's coming, yes fx1 hull ext's !!!
i just need to get the banana's off the banana tree and down to the jetski shops cash drawer before he sells them on me.
i'm not a freestyle rider, i like a closed course jetski.
i got a sj gas tank now too.
cant wait to see if it fit's and works for me ???

Gorilla, have you checked out WaveHog's build? Post# 23 http://www.x-h2o.com/showthread.php?t=26447&page=2 . Masterminded from Frankenstein's lab, and works great. You are going with that Kawi pump mod...aren't you? Set it and ride, adjust up for surf....down for "closed course".
Loose the weight(s)...It will feel like you added more hp. No hp#'s here.
Save those bananas.

flash, thanks for the wisdom on the lbs.
i'm just a "big" fat old fart on toothpick. and i mean big !!!
the hull weights helped a lot for my size, and i dont really go to the ocean or do freestyle that well.
i got the b pipe together and am ready to put it now.
i am waiting to see how mike at nwps kawi 650 pump upgrade comes out.
it too damm cold here to ride anyway.
there's a sn waterbox for sale now here.
i could not get it because i don't have enough rip banana's on the banana tree right now !!!
i'm thinking of modding the rn waterbox i have and run it.
thanks
