I know it will come up, so lets get the collection going again.
Well fine, I'll post then.
Daytona, monday. Trying to get out of the inside break my noob ass got launched with my ski verticle. I kicked out of my hold cuz I didnt want to topple back or dig my ski's back end into the sand, but held onto the bars. When the ski came down next to me, it slid into the water backwards and down. Rideplate caught my leg. Hurt like a mother, but I looked at my wetsuit and there was only a tiny tear, so I figured it was just going to be a heck of a bruise and I rode for another couple hours. Peeled my wetsuit off and, "Oh, that's.... My bone!" :frown:
ER would take forever tho, so I grabbed a handful of towels, washed with betadine, and hit the road.

It's doing pretty good, but I won't be able to get in the water for another week or so, and the bone bruises are going to take a while to heal I'm sure. When I thought a little more about it I realized how lucky I was my leg didn't break. Pretty sure it would have if my left foot had been on the sand, which my right foot was. Never broken a bone before (not for lack of trying), glad that didn't change and cut my ride short.:headbang:
I'm no doctor but it looks like something out of a medical textbook on infections........

Nope, not infected. The redness around it is because the ride plate hit a large area of my leg, and hit it hard. One side of my leg was numb for about a week. Felt weeeeird. :bigeyes: Also, in that pic the area is swollen a lot, the purple is bruising.

This pic was taken by SXR-Lou a couple days after the incident. I also had a busted up nose and stitches coming out my left nostril down my lip. But as you can see from the tan line it didn’t stop me. Oh yea, I always wear a helmet now every time.

My leg vagina from December. It is one super attractive scar now. Decided not to get stitches because butterfly bandages rock!

Here's my last 2 "notable" ones. The stitched were from headbutting my handlepole/hood when my right foot came out of my foothold during a barrel roll and the bruise was from a failed Ball Buster off a wave in Daytona last year.

now "leg-gina" that could have been a problem.... thats what you get for riding a sea-doo!
Im new here and new to jet skiing, but heres one reason I quit riding seadoos... other than the fact the royally suck.
Thats from summer of '05, 13 inner stitches, 15 outer stitches, sweet ass scar now. Damn headbutts!

no pics but I had a guy crash into my boat one time when he was waterskiing. I had my motor tilted in the up position and he came by and tried to spray us. He was alittle too far away so he moved in closer to make sure he sprayed us. He moved alittle too close, caught his thigh on the skeg of my motor, slid down the side of my boat, knocked my date out of the boat and into the water and broke two seats in my boat. He had two very big and very nasty cuts.
If you guys like gore i have an even better story I can tell about a jeep rolling over that I was in.

Here is a couple ouches.
First pic, I went over bars on a Backy and ate the pole.
My knee dented the alum. reinforce pole. I blew minicscus that time.
then the other, the ski just bit me one day.
Lots of people have this one looks like....
It was from a bronco gone bad...

Forgot about this one, I came out of my holds on an inverted stab and I landed on the side rail. Had me limping for a couple weeks.:headbang:

i've seen skateboarding and snowboarding bruises look just like that, especially from riding a halfpipe.

Mine was from Mx. Shattered both ankles when I landed short on a 45 foot double......the foot pegs were stronger than the ankle bones......5 hours of surgical reconstruction and 3 months in a wheelchair
