FX1 61X WetJet Intake Carb Install

i got a complete 61x 46mm sbn wetjet carb setup that i'm putting in my fx1.
well the 46mm sbn carb is off a 650 tigershark, but the holes on the bottom of the carb line up perfectly for the wetjet intake, no mod'ding the spacing !!!

it has a 2.0 n/s, 120 205 jets, and a really dull looking spring installed in it for now.
the adjuster screws were opened up to 2.5 turns on bottom and 4 turns on top.
i think a good starting point on th adjuster's would be 1.5 turns on both screws.

any wisdom on rejetting the carb would be GR8 !!!

i have a factory pipe 701 exhaust manifold, but a stock 650sx kawasaki pipe installed for now.

and i just installed carbon tech 701 limited 1 piece reeds on the cages too.

Pm Shorty he has 2 of these setups on his skis. They run good he should be able to give you a starting point

46mm carb
FX-1 B-pipe
Freestyle ported cylinder (from template)
Lightened/balanced flywheel

tried a lot of jetting combos, here's what worked for me:

12psi popoff w/2.3 needle & seat
115 low speed jet
145 high speed jet
low screw out 1/2 turn
high screw out 1 1/2 turns

Gorilla, u posted that the tiger 640's have the 46mm carb. Is that a 46 sbn that can be used on any 61x or 62t manifold? Or just a wetjet manifold. I have a wetjet mani, but im buying 10 46mm carbs of 640's and want to make sure my other friends can use the others for there skis.

the 640 tigershark single carb motor only.
here's some pic's i found on fleabay of that 640 single carb intake manifold.
the stud spread on the tigershark intake manifold inlet looks the same as the wetjet intake manifold too !!!
