View Full Version : Can you use the stock x-2 cable on a 44sbn?

Can ya? I'm going to put a SBN on the 750 if I can help it, and use the surfjetlouie adapter to mount it to the stock Kehien manifold.
My guess is yes because I can turn the "wheel" on a SBN upside down (stupid pressed on keheins!) and then just run some type of bracket system.

as long as you can find a bracket to mount the cable to you whould be able too, I dont thing the lead ring (part that connects to the butterfly) is different......
A hot products top pull bracket, and ADA $14 mulit position throttle wheel works nice.

Maybe I could even make my own out of some alum flat bar I have... But thats sweet that hot products makes one... I'll have to talk to Zig because I need some more of his goodies anyhow..

ive always used a wee bit off alli angle iron or carbon screwed to the base off the flame arrestor or when i was useing a 46sbn i use a peace off flat carbon plate that bolts to the 4 bolt holes on top off the carb for the cable to line up for the carb

Well, I can either pick up one of those adaptors, or do a longer cable like a 650. I picked up this manifold:
