Usually when I post, I will attach my signature on my first post. After that I don't atach it to help reduce the clutter. I don't want them gone completely but just one sig per person per thread.

You could resize your sig pic, that's probably the biggest on the boards. I think 500x150 was our announced limit. Your's is 800x183, that alone will cause people running 800x600 resolution to have to scroll sideways.

I don't know that there is a way to only show a user's signature once in a thread.

in your UserCP--->edit options--->thread display options: you can turn off avatars, signatures, or images in whatever combination as you desire.

so if you turn off signatures - you won't see any signatures at all.

I turn them off altogether, primarily because some sigs are NSFW at times.

Only time I dont like the sigs is when I'm on my phone, but I turn them off for that.

800x600 resolution to have to scroll sideways.

Yes, 8% of our visitors do.

I need to update mine. I was a little home sick when I made that one. tear....

My point was more how when people have sigs like mine and then count down timers ect... It junks the threads up some. I may just turn them off like you suggested. I did turn off my email notifications because I was getting way too many updated thread emails.

I can no longer work with anything less than 1680x1050. It helps to have a spare 4:3 19" LCD on left that I use only for Photoshop tool sets and pallets. How anyone can do basic browsing with only 800x600 boggles my mind.

24" LCD's and 6Mbps for everyone...right Al Gore?!!

We have some apps at work that the windows/fonts are not scalable, so on a 19" lcd running 1280x1024, everything is super small. We also have an average salaried workforce age of over 50, so their vision isn't the best either. We really do have people running 800x600 on big lcd's, go figure.

I hate to admit it, but my close up and reading site have gone away bad the last couple years. I'm at 1024x768 and not sure smaller would work for me.
