Barrell roll the ski-but not U! Go into a normal barrell roll and instead of hanging on-throw the ski into roll and w/it's right side up, hop back in tray and ride off.

1st attempt was my face in right side of my new diablo hood(no helmet)

2nd attempt was my foot stuck in intake grate while ski was still rotating and I wasn't!

3rd-I threw my helmet bout 100' and cussed alot!

imagine a body buriel by Chuck Caruthers in freestyle MX-just the ski rotates instead of yer body.

I would recc wearing about 30 wetsuits at 1 time before attempting-and 2 helmets(1 for each head)LOL

It would be cool if the pole stuck on the hood to kick the top of the rail and have it spin under but it would be hard to grab the bars to close to the hood and if the pole was out it would barely rotate. I think the ski doing the backflip and landing in the tray seems more practical.

why not try having your body spin and the ski stay straight like how they do it on dirtbikes. But with the ski pointing more vertical like how when you do a tailstand and spin around but in the air. It seems to me that would be a little easier/safer except it might be hard to get you body to spin with out the ski spining. also just out of curiosity what is the pole doing during this trick?

Question- i wana try the roll ( with me, not just the ski ) ...i'm on a sxr ....i have read the tips, just had one question ....where are my feet the whole time? in the footholds or in the tray with one in the front and one in the back? i'll be rolling to my right...i read everyone going to the left...i'm a righty and it just feels better ....

Gil, every time ever since that day you saw me puss out on that roll, your trick is all I have been doing. Ski makes it around fine, I am just not on it... lol I better quit because I am goign to rip out motor mounts if not...
