i started my 98 superjet project. footholds sanding getting ready 4 paint what r the steps in sanding ex. 80 120 n painting 2.also do u really have to reinforce the hull is that extra layer really gonna sve your hull from splitting.thanks

It depends on what you do with the ski. If you're going to be riding in the ocean, or jumping and rolling (flatwater or ocean) then yes, you should reinforce.

thanks ...that all i do is ride in the ocean and jump ...then ill do it how many layers

One layer of biaxial glass matt/weave ought to do it.
Or 2-3 layers of carbon or carbon kevlar.
Or 2-3 layers of thin glass cloth.
