Ok when I got home from work today and I opened up Firefox, my home page was different. Didnt seem like a big deal, but everything is wiped from firefox. My bookmarks are gone, settings are gone, passwords are gone, everything. Its like I just installed it.

Is there any way to get all that information back? I have no idea how to get some of the passwords that were saved that I dont remember. Alot of them are business related too.

Thanks for the help.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\***your user name***\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and see if there is a second profile folder with a recent date on it. If so, you need to use that profile. Check http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager#Windows for instructions on how to switch to it.

and check out the extension febe it can back up just about anything that is related to ff. there is also a good one called foxmarks that will keep your bookmarks backed up and synced up with multiple computers.

As much as I like firefox, it sure has been seeming to have some problems lately, however, a lot have been cleared up with this last update...
