I have a waterdawg turnplate that I wanted to try to set up with stock-style steering. I don't really want to use the UMI system because I can't tell the difference and I don't want to have to bother rebuilding it every year or so. Can I just put a bolt through the turnplate and use the stock plastic bushings, nuts etc?
