Buyers beware i order a 701 from these guys and they sent me a 650 motor. Not to mention that i never received the engine gasket set like described. the box was open when i received it, damage to the coupler from hitting the ground so many times. I think mouthfulloflake had a similar experience with bad engine packaging. I needed the 701, not a friggen crappy 650. This guy lied to me, didn't fulfill his listing and sent me the wrong motor. Overlook the crappy shipping and i still feel screwed. I took it to the paypal resolution. anything else i should do. I read this guys feedback and he had other issues with people being unhappy about getting the wrong item. What do i do now? anyone want to hlep who is in Miami, FL?

I have personally tried to intervene with their auctions! they mistakenly list items with the wrong item #'s and post motors as rebuilt but if you look at the pictures you see heads on back wards and 1200 yamaha cases with only 1 pulse port = 1100 so despite numerous emails to help them and incoherent responses from them !I came to the conclusion that if they are rebuilding these motors as stated they should have some inkling of what is inside of said motors! I Take complete responsibility for my post! Scott Zimmerman

Be forewarned I think there may be a language barrier? most of my correspondence with them was through email but it appears English was not their primary language

can anyone help me here? Am i posting in the wrong forum? The name they used is Maria Ponce. I was so screwed by this seller. They sent me a 650 claiming it was a 701 motor with 61x sleeves. Then i sent it back, but they used a bogus po box that didn't exist. I then shipped it back after opening a dispute and sent it to an address that paypal gave me. I used fedex and a tracking number. It WAS delivered on the third of this month, then refused on the 6th. How does that happen, no i am out $670.00 and have a box full of bricks on my porch. This suck, i stopped working on my ski (sn 701 install) and am feeling really depressed these days accordingly. can someone plz help me, MODs please help instead of deleting. Let get this guy off ebay so he can't screw anyone else...how do i do that?

I can help u with that also if u need! Scott

Just a note, posts aren't deleted, they go into a temporary hold in this forum to be approved. Most are approved without even a second thought about them but it may take a little bit of time.

I contacted the buyer of his last motor ( waiting for a response)also here is a link from the another site that I posted awhile ago http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=41861
hope the link is OK? I saw a GH link at the top and figured it would be cool in this post? Z

I saw they had a set of Kawasaki 750 ZXi cases for a decent price and was about to jump on them. I thought to myself, engine cases in this price range usually have the bottom busted out of them because a rod went through them. Yep sure enough they weren't busted through but you can see damage from a bad rod.
I feel your pain. I too was ripped off once on a bad engine. I lost about $800 all total when the dust finally settled. This has me leaning more towards just buying brand new parts for major $$$ direct from Kawasaki. At least I know my stuff will be new...
Did you use a credit card with PayPal or did the money come from a bank account? If it was a credit card, you could file a dispute with the CC company.

Yes i did use a credit card. I have contacted the ebay police and follow uped my feedback to him where he tried to defame my character. Hopefully we can get this guy off the interweb so a n00b like me doesn't have to get screwed. NEVER buy motors or large ticket items off ebay without talking to seller first. YOu can never be too careful.
Honestly though, i would still be screwed either way. Next step is the police. For those following this and who didn't know you can involve the police at ic3.gov. Never done it, just found out after contacting ebay.
Wish me luck, the engine build i have planned is on permanent hiatus until this is solved and my $$$ is back on my card.
Thanks for the support, bros

thanks for the heads up I never got anything resolved. I still have the motor in the basement all torn apart. He screwed me so bad i wanted to stop riding...mainly cuz after that i couldn't afford this sport. Praise Jesus for credit cards and student loans.
If you look at the auctions, almost everyone of those cylinders and engines are freshly painted. They're trying to shine up turds to sell for top $$.
