I was digging through some old photos and found these - I thought people on here might get a kick out of them. What you can't see is how big the swell was - about 10 feet peak to trough. My elder brother is driving (he was about 18 at the time), I'm in the passenger seat (at 15) and my younger brother is in the back (he was 13). My dad took the pictures from a friend's boat. As you can see, we got some pretty good air! That day was a freaking riot - and the boat even survived :smokin:

But seriously, those are some wild pics, a friend of mine had a 16ft lightweight boat with a 150hp hanging off the back. We went airborne a few times off of a big boat wake more than a few times back when I was younger and dumber..

OK. here's a pic I took with my phone of the poster size print I have of that picture. See? No mullet :cool2: Now, can we focus on the cool boat jumps please? :booty:
Is that the white cliffs of Dover in the background?
I worked on those straight six mercs as an apprentice. I remember they ate needle valves like an early model buckshot brm.

That looks like a short hull to me, what kind of HP were you sporting? Also the background landscape looks like something you would see in a photo. Where were those pictures taken?

I wish - sad to say that was so long ago that I don't think Photoshop was even on the market! Jeez - I'm getting old....
Those were shot on the south coast of England - lot's of white cliffs along that coast. The boat was a Fletcher 17 foot, with a 90HP inline six Merc. Not long afer that we put a V6 135HP Merc on there: that was a fantastic motor.
