Sweet from the video you will have no problem if you just commit to it and make sure the scared switch is turned off.
Look back in pics and video and watch wetbox pulling them off on his SXR.
hey on a true barrel roll does the nose have to be up or it can be little bit below flat. cause i think I'm trying to roll with my nose little bit down. Or if you stick it and ride away that's a barrel roll no mater how you rolled it.

I like to see the ski horizontal on a roll but mine are more of a cartwheel then a roll I am very low on the nose but wet box is very nose high.
I am working on mine.

I know they're supposed to be flat but I like to see nose down rolls. wehn you see a nose down roll you know he's really commited to a roll and not an over rotated stab or bronco.
just say no to nose stabs

Is it possible to roll off boat wakes on a stock SXR? I want to start practicing this, but I don't know if I'd just be wasting my time and eating a lot of ski.
foot holds required !!!!!. i was stabbing like crazy with no problem with stock ski with holds. i guess its possible with stock ski (wet box). But that extra braaap!!! helps. i would get your stabs down first. I started to over rotate the stabs by accident & that game me some what of an understanding how roll the ski, i just need to roll it more horizontal, full rotation & land it :brap:
First time you see the water upside down, the barrel roll attempt addiction begins :woot:

I need to bring my nose down some. I may start doing giant nose stabs to bring back a more neutral attitude. I am starting to think that with a stock pole my body is not in the best position to get good air, good rotation, and a clean landing. The pole really needs to be shorter. I used to think it was short enough .... but no. :bananalama: some power would be nice as well.

I can't believe how far you are getting with the stock pole. I could never do that!!! Congrats. The shorter pole helps alot, at least on the SXR.

I think he is. I still can't believe I'm not...granted I made it on the water about 15-20 times this year.
Got half way around off nothing though, no setup wake or anything.

Not plate to Plate, but getting closer every day. I am just recovering from a shallow water failed BR attempt Friday night. Ski crushed my head against the pole pad and the shale bottom. My neck is killing me. Good thing I was wearing my helmet!
