I would love to race one with the Blasters.

Is the added power worth the added weight? Does it handle simular to the old school X2 or totaly different?

All I know about that ski is it's dead sexy looking.

JohhnyX2 on PWCT says it handles better than the old X2. But I think it is the weight. Probably ride just like an SXR since it has the same bottem deck. I would still take one. Better yet an aftermarket freestyle 800 New X2 hull from Japan like Rotation has!

From what I can see it is way better making bouy passes than an old X2 and it pretty much handle like an SXR but should be easier to hammer on with the fixed steering. Weight is you friend on a race track. It helps crush chop.

night and day difrence in the handling . it is just like a sxr round the course but a wee bit easer since it has the fixed steering . the old x2 is twice as stable and is easer to ride for that reason . it takes a wee bit to get used to the new one. for me since im 6/4 tall it felt like i need to move the steering forward a couple off inches. im still in two minds weather to buy one or not at the moment might hold off and wait for a second hand one

she's heavy, but rides oh so sweet. had her for a year. tried to keep her stock but ended up throwing bilge and factory pipe in her. absolutley great ride in the surf.
