Pat, the ski looks great. But you need to take that pipe off and throw it in the trash......... Put a speedwerx pipe on and BAM - 300rpm. I did back to back test. That pipe fits like a dream and is out of the way of everything but it's a poor performer. Find an Octane pipe and you will gain even more over the speedwerx in the midrange. They are about the same on the bottom and just a little better on top. Hope to see you at some races next year.

Upgraded steering to the max with some advice from lee
Dakine footstraps
46 mik's
83mm
Jetworks valve( i did notice a difference when i ran this mod, and i like it)
Fresh top end from Team Scream along with some mod work done to the headpipe and manifold.....saki if you thought it ran good before you should try it now.. this is going to be a roller for me :fingersx:
The only thing left it could benefit from is an Advent ignition.....otherwise this is a pretty sweet freeride/freestyle B1

JAM,
ya i know, its just what i had around and it was a lot easier than messing with the B pipe.
Lee,
I have about a month left of riding here, once its done i plan on sending the ski to TJ to dial in. So you can get all the numbers you want from him.

Should have brought her down to Va. with tubby when he came to race the Lake Anna race. I would have got her tuned in for you bro. Put it on the calender for next year.

The little clips on the seat tend to break/wear out. They hold the seat much better. A great mod for only $30.

How much did you lengthen the arm? Is that the only change you made for this mod??
If I ever post from home again I'll put up a few pics of mine...

Id guess the piece was 2 1/2 inches longer and i also moved the steering ball on the nozzle in as far as i could with still being able to attach the cable end....Id like to see how yours is if you ever get the chance to take a pic:147:

Ok, now I'm confused as to what that accomplished. I originally thought that you just extended the arm under the hood to give you more throw out back. But if you also shortened the arm out back that would undo some, if not all, of the increase in throw from the mod up front. So what was the goal of doing this and did it work?? Just curious because I know lee isn't just stumbling around in the dark with these things...
Also, I don't have anything like this done to mine, I was just saying that I'd like to contribute to the thread and 'show my ski' if I ever get around to it.

Its hard to explain without a pic so here it is.....moving the steering nub in towards the nozzle will give more throw....but you will also have to shave the steering nozzle so it clears the reduction nozzle.....are you still confused?http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y260/gsemike/003.jpg

yup, bring the master out and the slave in to achieve tighter steering.
this makes a HUGE difference.

Oh ok, I get it now. My logic was backwards there for a minute. Have another Dan...:trink26:
Seems like a worthy (and cheap) mod. I think I'll add it to my list for this off season. Thanks for the pics!

From the pics you posted, one mod I would highly recommend, is the oil block off, and going pre-mix.
Great looking ski!!!

thanks!
you have to explain why the premix is a better way to go, i really like having the oil injection on the motor, the oil seems to go alot farther, and i don't have to pre-mix anything. i worked as a watercraft tech at a yamaha dealership for years and never heard of a oil pump on one of these ever failing. please excuse the ignorance, but would like to know if there is a legitimate reason.
