Hood locks

Anyone else have trouble with the hood locking part, not the latch?

on some of mine they jam up now and then. and one or two the locks fell right out so just the latch is there.

I had one fall apart too. Hood fell down and hit the latch and the lock guts jumped out and int othe water.

My bigest gripe with hood latches is the little hook on the end or the catch on the hood wears down. Then the latch won't stay latched. I am usualy riding around with only one hood lock working and latched.

I am hoping to eventually get 4 X-Metal catches and 4 X-Metal latches. That way I would have two hood latches per side like Pete did on his X2's.

More money... more weight... but added security.

ive never had the locks in my latches on every one off my skis . when ive brought them they just havent ben there so i have never botherd replaceing them .
