The waves were sooo sweet sunday. It has been sooo long since I have seen any decent surf. I was in heaven! That was stuff you fall asleep dreaming about.

I think a couch "zone" for anything bigger than a blaster would be cool. The large couches are moving really fast and cannot turn fast enough to get out of the way.... I came in from riding a couple of times because of some close calls with big red 1000 pound 3 seater skis.

I agree and theres no need for speed like that in the surf unless you're caught in the wrong place. Running back and forth in the break zone is a huge no no.


DJ, I wasn't crazy about some of the riding either, so I spent a lot of time on the beach waiting for things to clear up or till certain skis took a break.

It was unreal! I can’t believe how many sponsors you guys had pulled together and all the cool goodies (so mad I didn’t get one of those batteries or the bilge kit :banghead: )! But Allen, I SO LOVE my Wavedaze spaghetti string top, and I’m picky (gave Captain the $)! A chick had to have helped pick that style out, or some dude just rocks with good taste (x-smalls next year please)! I was privy to much of the hurdles you guys had gone through to pull this awesome meet off, but I seriously realized the amount of work you guys had to put into this event compared to most once I got up there…UNBELIEVABLE! That one sponsor with the atv’s was over the charts cool!

I’m not waiting until Wavedaze 2008 to come back up…the Junkies alone rock big at home, so let me know when the next big meet is and when you have a spare ski w/o footholds…footholds everywhere (I’m not complaining though…ankles just skerd of em)!!!! Midnight Impromptu Beach Party - (all because Lovin tried to get me to come down and hang on the beach with him (alone :smlove2:) for his hour of security partrol, lol, and I end up passing it down the grapevine to around 20 peps, rofl, bet he bout died when we all started showing up…2 much fun that was you guys, so glad I brought the vid and hope it turns out with nightshot on).

Hearing bout the two strangers hooking up in the sponsor tent and getting surprise busted by a select few of ya at dawn, lol (can’t believe nobody has mentioned that yet, rofl…where was Jet then)! :spankme::popcorn4:

Partying with DJ and Captain in the hotel by the firepits near the beach and on the roof at the Sky Bar/pool :beerchug:(that place is so cool, and I hope I can help get it hooked up for next year…the GM already had that girl call and leave me vm wanting to know about donation request Captain, so I’ll get with ya soon…would rock to get the Sky Bar area (BIG hot tub) as well as downstairs bar on the beach (what was the name of that place?) ya know...they seem willing to sponsor, but I want the place instead, so we should hit with that first please…not sure if I can have 100+ guests upstairs, but the downstairs on the beach shouldn’t be a problem I wouldn’t think really…if we have the Hilton backing, maybe the City would allow a move in front of their place…if it breaks decent there…lotta revenue…lotta clout…lotta exposure)!!!! :present::cheer:

Dinner at Outback and FINALLY getting to call out AND bust Convict publicly in the parking lot for a NOT TRUE comment I heard he claimed in Daytona!!! Climbing the statue:usa: of King Neptune on the Boardwalk with Captain and DJ catching it on film and not getting busted (I could only make it as far as the boulder in his crotch, but I really wanted to squeeze his nipples)!

Seeing DJ Burger King suddenly make another stealth appearance (I forgot to grab your cape from Brian:lmao:)

Being within ear shot (and hopefully not camera) while suiting up on the shoreline of some guys filming live coverage I thought I heard (from Cali I also thought I heard…who were they??)…anyway, they guy kept messing up in the beginning when he was trying to start it, lol! I kept hearing variations of , “…wavedaze 2007….” Cut/cut/cut/cut, rofl (and so was he) until he got it down right! Now THAT was funny to be in on…dude was hilarious!

Having a private cabana boy sent upstairs by the GM to open the Sky Bar for drinks (they forgot to schedule someone) by the pool to entertain me personally, lol… this guy SO ROCKED IT FOR ME for vid, risqué still shots (not posting those of course :nono:well mayb an avatar, but it was fun), drinks and amusement!!:purr:

Julianna flashing her boobs :shocked: in a drunken stupor to one of the Hilton employees Sat nite and learning later his girlfriend worked there and got pissed, :biggrin:. And walkin around in the private club lounge in her robe like it was normal! (Brazilian chick culture thing maybe:dunno:)

I got half of my video downloaded and have another tape to go through .

DJ and Brian ,I will just put the raw footage right from the DV cam to a DVD-R and you can choose how to compress/edit it .I want to give you the best quality footage to start with .

Pete.. dude your surf style skillz are schweet. there is something about the way you hit your top turns or the way your pump unloads,but you ALWAYS have the sickest spray like 20 ft in the air. Im getting so thats almost all I enjoy these days,guess its the surfer backgroud in me. Anyway you and Joe b are where I want to be with some more practice.I actually got a can TO can left right on the SJ sunday.Was workin on those and re-entrys pretty much all day.

Yvwm Sir, and I’ll do better whenever I get my tripods down from Atl (j/j, not really ). Jet is working hard he said (and bummed he had to work at the meet instead of partaking in the parties understandably) so I can’t wait to see the pics…I’m sure he did justice to all)!

Listen, your style was unique and relaxing to watch (and always w/ your head cam on – got a great idea for a vid btw) simply because of the extensive surf background I think...ya just look natural out there it seems…graceful yet explosive. I watched the surf riding and learned, since that’s what I need to be focusing on myself these days! So, thanx for always passing down the knowledge of surf/skis…probably one of the main ones keeping me from getting killed ya know…you’re an excellent mentor Sir!! Thanks a lot, I just love to slap the lip. It has this gravitational force that make me head at it as hard as I can. I really need to work on some new tricks but I have to totally binge on riding in the waves before I can get interested in going out the back.

ok, was lol up there over Torr's funny fennin lookin pic, not that i hadn't posted anymore pics up. Here's the deal, I am just now unpacking (this minute) to make it down to Sebby to ride this weekend with evb. It's going to happen to me again from there...evb is gonna want their pics yesterday-like (and they're still waitin on a few from a few weeks b4 I came up there to VA).

Scanning through even my limited 200 pics takes time, yet I just did this for you personally, and all I have of you are now attached...I don't appear to have you in the water, and for that I am truly sorry Sir...I'm sure Jet or someone does. I'm not sure whose ski is whose on the others asking, so it is hard to select upon request. Lost my cf card and had to snatch up a small 512mb, so I was limited in the amount of pics I could take (beachjunkey said he would capture and hold my pics hostage if I off-loaded them to his pc to have more room, and he would've, lol)...meaning I have posted most (not all) of my air shots up already.

So, give Jet and all some time. They just got back home like everyone else did with mega things to catch up on, messin with the pics as they can squeeze it in ya know...patience for the quality pro-level pics he's churning out...takes time, skill and organization. :wavey:

Heh! I got a couple more, where the ski is even more rotated, almost on top of me, but I just couldn't keep my feet on the ski. I am pretty much on my back, and the ski lands almost upside down. It wasn't an on purpose thing, just seemed to happen when I caught the curl a bit late, the ski wanted to come back over on top of me. Can't wait until I get straps installed. :cool2:

We planned on snapping pics the second day but one ski had damaged reeds (I'm sure the hydrolock helped) and the other had a stupid electrical problem....so we rode alot the first day and didnt get any pics of our skis the 2nd. Anything you have is greatly appreciated by us!
