Kid we had green apple trees for Apple cider production and when the cows will eat them or to many they will get drunk too, really funny!

Birds will often sit up in hackberry trees in the fall and eat fermented berries. We used to see them all the time at the clinic 'cuz they would fall out of the trees, they'd be flopping all over and not be able to fly. People would bring them in thinking they had a broken wing or something. If they had dark purple brown droppings full of the hackberry seeds, we would just put them in a cage overnight and be able to let them go in the morning. Kinda like the popo drunk tank!
