well, we got rearended in our little geo metro.
on our way to work this morning driving down the interstate, the traffic in front of me was slowing down, i i gently slowed down....got to about 15 or 20 mph, looked up into my rear view mirror and saw a car going what looked like full speed ...like 70 or so...i don't know, it's kinda hard to judge speed, but it was coming fast, it was a long ways off so it didn't bother me much, till it got closer..and closer, i decided that it wasn't going to stop so i turned into the median (i was in the left lane). the car hit the passengers rear corner of our car, it sent us like a helicopter into the median, both me and jessie's seats broke and jessie hit her head really hard, so we went away in the ambulance. the x-rays have all turned out ok, but she's got one heck of a goose egg on the back of her head. we're home now after some narcotic shots and pain pills, i put her in bed...she aint feeling to well, so any prayers would be appreciated. later bros

We already have a 3/4 ton 4x4 long bed extended cab dogde ram. We want the little car b/c it got 40+ mpg, when you drive 45 miles to work, that's nice.

the insurance company of the girl that hit us gave us a rental car, a little kia, so at least we don't have to spend a lot of money driving the hog!!! i thought that was pretty cool of them. we get it till the 2nd of feb.

There was a similar wreck in north FL this week. A girl, driving her 3 adopted siblings and two cousins home was stopped behind a bus when a BIG ASS TRUCK sandwiched them between his truck and the bus. Their car exploded and all the kids inside died. When their grandfather heard the news, he had a heart attack and died.

good news...i don't hurt anymore. jessi is back at work today, still sore, and head hurting, but she's back at work!!!! bad news we got a letter from the insurance company that didn't sound like they weren't going to pay for all the hospital stuff (not to mention that we still haven't heard anything from them on my car) so a call to the lawyer today it is. i just want thing the way they were b4.

i was clipped in rear quarter a year ago on interstate by a kid driving 100 mph, i was going 70 and did earnhart into wall, flipped, realized where i was while sliding upside down in i-state waiting to be slammed by someone else. after i magaged to crawl out back. seperated shoulder, screwed something up in knee and the usual jerking body around stuff. felt beter after 6 months, but now into 14 month shoulder bugs me a lot - never sued, just got bills paid and took very small 2k pain/suffering setlement offered by the kids insurance co just to be done with it and i was just happy to be alive. the 2k actually only helped ofset the crappy settlement i got on my truck.

getting old sucks, but getting old with not at fault body damage sucks worse.
take your time, if other driver was cited for stupid driving + he hit you in rear - his insurance co will pay all the bills. they just seem to wait until their million + in the account earns enough instrest to pay this claim.
ultimately be glad everyone is functional; and if you need to go to DR - go, they'll pay the bill eventually.

nope, liability only, the car only cost me $500 so we just put a high bodily and property coverage on it incase we ever hit someone.
