For those who think the FX1 is too hard to ride, check out this vid of my brother getting it dialed in after only a couple months of riding. He's 53 years old and just started riding stand ups. This summer was his first full season and although the FX is a little squirley compared to larger skis, he's killin' it!

I never thought they were too bad....

I rode Tricky1's 8mm Lamey fx1 with the SJ pump conversion about a week after I learned to ride. That one was REALLY quirky but I've alwyas liked FX1s

They are easy to ride if you have been on an sj for awhile. I prefer fx1s to sjs because of their ability to be flicked around without hassle!!!!!!

I like 'em but perfer my SJ. Its the right balance of nimble/stable for me

I've been boxed off in corners & ended up more than 100 ft in waist deep mud:grumble:

I've also made passes out of the water berm shot in the mud:headbang:
