Skinnyman offered something, either fish or bird, but PWCT is down and I can't remember.

Penaguina... YOu get the briskets to me and I can cook them guys a lil advance before the ride. Like on Wed night.. all night and then the day of the ride all we have to do is warm em back up on a pit for a few hours. Or
Just cook em all day the day of the ride if we have a smoker that large. Mine here at the house can do em.

just an idea.

I think my pit is large enough to cook 4. If we put them on late Friday night and keep the temp down, they will be ready by noon on Saturday.

might be nice though to have them pre-cooked and I can use the pit to cook some chickens and sausage....hmmmmmmmmm

this will be for saturday:

I have 4 briskets for smoking and 2 turkeys for frying. I was also going to get a couple big bags of chicken leg quarters to BBQ and some possibly some sausage.

I am intending to pickup 4 gallons of sour cream potato salad and make a big tray or 2 of frito coleslaw (sounds wierd, but I promise it's yummy!)

whatever you want to add to that meal, feel free. Bring some meat, desserts, more side dishes (beans are easy) - whatever.

if we want to make another big meal say Friday evening - I'll leave that one up to someone else to head up

michael950

Someone had mentioned a fish fry.

that could be done Friday. Fish frying is pretty easy.
