zap 2 it labs you mean? I thought that was going to break as of sept 1.

Still works AFAIK, it recorded some stuff Sunday for us. I haven't looked since then.

I just setup Mythtv on a newer computer this weekend, and saw that our schedulesdirect subscription expires end of next month.

In 11 months of use, it's worked perfectly, so I highly recommend them I'd guess.

Now, for a HD card ...

i was at my brother in laws with myth tv it was pretty nice being able to do stuff on the computer instead of using the tv remote.

I have a cordless keyboard/mouse, but also have a remote that controls it, and planning on programming my Sony remote to take it's place so it handles the entire system.
