plain wave riding videos?

I'm looking for vids of surf riding. Not just jumping but more wave riding, cut backs, off the lips, barrell rides or just plain down the line type riding. I've found clips with short clips of wave riding but nothing that show off riding more than jumping.

its a shame that stuff has taken a back seat in videos to the almighty backflip. there should be a video made that focuses only on surf riding and re-entries and the like. i know i would buy it.

the red bull surf challenge video from a few years back had a good intro about scott watkins and all that footage was him doing re-entries and surf riding. also liquid revolution had more of that stuff in it.

if you find one i havent mentioned post the name. i'd like to know of others.

Totall agree... that would be great to see some killer surf action video without a million BF's.

Videos of boat wake surfing is fine as well. Backflips are kick butt to watch but it's gonna be awhile before I try one on purpose.

I would love to find some descent surf that wasnt far away. But where can you do that in MI?! I can 'surf' big boat wake. It's soo much fun!EDIT: That video is sweet! That'd be a nice wave to be consistant on! That's so cool. Just sitting in one spot while the water is going past!

The wake was way short so everytime I came off of it I was way to far out front of it. I went out looking for a different part of the wave, but it really wasnt that good. :dunno:

That's a good video. I'll probably be at that stage of riding for a long time. I really enjoyed the video thanks for posting. I kitesurf a lot and my favorite thing is just plain wave riding. Most guys are into the jumps but I prefer a good wave ride to a jump.

the hardest thing to do on a standup are turns in critical sections...jumpings easy..thats why everyone does it..

yesterday lake Michigan was huge you just have to watch the wave reports and call in sick.
