As many of you have probably noticed, we have added a few advertisers lately. The idea of this & what the revenue is to be used for will eventually be a topic of discussion & we want to address it before it comes up.

X-H2O is a not for profit site. We exist by the riders & for the riders.

Our main purpose is to supply a viable window into the world of freeride watercraft. In this world, nothing is cheap & the site has bills like everyone else. The revenue from all the advertisers is to ensure the continued growth of the site & freeride events in general. As we grow, & more dollars become available, there are many new fronts we would like to address. One of the big things is to give back to the membership by supporting freeride events, the communities that host them, and the members themselves.

Please help us in supporting the site & making it grow.

Please support the vendors who support us and our sport.

Freeride is growing extremly fast. The X team is doing all we can to ensure that trend continues. Please try to attend as many of the events as you can. This is a great sport.

See you on the water, Darin, Harrison, Paul

Paul,
The site is great and I, hopefully everyone else on here, don't expect you or anyone else to have to take money out of their own pocket to keep it great. What ever you have to do to get the money to keep the site going is fine by me.

:cheer: As it should be!

I do hope you've reimbursed yourselves any monies you were out though.

Are you setting yourselves up as a not-for-profit?

I love the idea of a freeride kitty!:cheer: That's awesome! :cheer:
This is an attitude I saw lacking in the previous owner's version of pwct.

Seriously :You_Rock_Emoticon:

Not yet, I guess we will eventually.

Thanks. We just have a vision I guess, where the advertisers support the sport, not our back pockets. Advertising money covers the site then goes back into the sport, nice and simple.

i think you need to start a PP accont the way the last site did....you could have different level supporters n' such..

We have a Paypal account, but the site supporters was way too controversial for some people to handle.

However, we may revisit that because any money over/above the site running costs goes back to the sport.
