wow wow wow, i kept it clean, im stating facts, it would be next to impossible to get a 785 pro to do 72mph, id even bet it has never been done, it takes alot just to get 1-2 mph at those speeds especially with only 785cc's, and i dont think many would disagree at this, if they do i will stand corrected

the worst thing of all.... ive ridden my cousins pro 785. His GPS'd at 64 MPH with me on it. Its got a little tweaking, I think it does in fact have A/M carbs.


However the stock speedo said I was doing 71.

I came to x-h2o so I did not have to deal with that type of stuff. Actually, I would not mind banning/closing threads ASAP with that type of stuff here. It's non-productive, does not contribute, and is just crap.

Yeah, he called the first names, but everybody just egged him on.......... Best to let him live in his imiganitive world, That one of the problems with PWCToday the past couple of years, someone new comes on and does not know jack, and current members have a field day with him (Granted, some of it was funny) instead of trying to help straighten out his crooked head......... Too me it looks like a bullying match.......... That is especially what we dont want happening here...........

I'm not trying to start anything back up here, but I will say the guy's pro785 probably did better than 58 mph, I can almost guaranty that. My Pro1200 will do 62 on the gps with semi-rough water, bone stock. The 785 is supposed to be a bit faster.

Now, as to 70, hmmm, not so sure on that :-)

Anyway, interesting thread. He sure got bent outta shape at the end.

But more fun can be had on the SJ, that's what's taken over my life as of late.
